Welcome to Flick Flops, where we dive into the depths of terrible movies and have a good laugh at their expense. On today’s episode, we’re taking on the 2008 disasterpiece known as “The Love Guru,” starring Mike Myers as Guru Pitka, a self-help guru who becomes embroiled in a celebrity couple’s marital problems. Joining Myers in this cinematic travesty are Jessica Alba, Justin Timberlake, and Verne Troyer. Critics had a field day with this one, with Rotten Tomatoes calling it “an aggressively unfunny comedy” and The New York Times calling it “an exercise in desperation.” So grab your popcorn and get ready for a trainwreck of a movie as we review “The Love Guru.”
